Being proud owners of our Hymer Motorhome, we are keen to maintain the vehicle to the original specification, whilst preserving it’s excellent condition as much as possible, which in turn, extends our years of usage and happy travels with it.
As soon as it became apparent that one of the roof seals had been compromised by the elements, (as well as ageing), we purchased the correct parts from Hymer AG, in Bad Waldsee, Germany, and approached Steve Ash to carry out the task of replacing the rear and front roof seals respectively, with the view that as both seals were of the same age, they would therefore both require replacement. A very good decision, as it turned out.
Although most maintenance tasks are carried out by ourselves, we truly felt that this particular task was more specialised.
With both roof seals now replaced using the OEM parts and sealants, and no signs of damp at all in the vehicle after testing, we are very pleased to recommend Steve Ash for his attention to detail, and for his excellent approach and professionalism, before and during the task.Having observed the manner in which Steve looks after his own Motorhome, we were more than happy for him to help us look after ours.Best regards,
